About my process

Since 2009, business owners and professionals in service-based industries have been hiring me to achieve clarity, consistency and as I like to say, killer cashflow as they run a business that doesn’t run them.

Success means something different to everyone.

What does success mean to you? With so many conditioned versions of success, one of the most rewarding parts of my work as a business coach is to watch clients achieve clarity on what success actuals means for them and then to co-create that into their life and business empire (we all have an empire btw.)

Just like a jigsaw puzzle, when you start locking a few key pieces into place, the waves of progress start flowing like a raging river…and that is when the real fun begins.

I define profitability as filling up the bank and your tank.

Working evenings and weekends, wearing too many hats and losing that connection to why you started your business in the first place is not the way to success. I’ve seen it dozens of times, when you start prioritizing the things that light you up and make you feel like YOU, your business will elevate in delightful and surprising ways.

A bit about me

I am a born and raised BC business coach, keynote speaker, educator, blogger, workshop leader, mom, and wife who goes to work each day feeling like a kid in a candy store. It makes my soul sing every day to live, work, and play in this coastal paradise of Vancouver, British Columbia.

 

My unique blend of sweet and savoury experience with roots in broadcast television enables me to support business development in key areas while mapping out the key performance indicators (KPI’s) for success.

Entrepreneurs hire me so they can effectively make an explosive impact with their brand, build an authentic community while increasing revenues and profitability. Good people do good things with their money and our world needs more successful and influential change makers like you, leading the way for a more inclusive and harmonious business culture.

In what feels like a past life now, I enjoyed an adventurous career in television. As the GM at a boutique television production company, I received a “sink or swim” on the job MBA, overseeing every division of our rapidly growing organization.

I was beyond blessed to indulge my creative side and produce, host and distribute hundreds of episodes of tv for broadcasters around the globe with series like Wings Over Canada, Discovering Great Towns and Canadian Biography Moments.

Interviewing people from all walks of life was a life-changing experience. It opened my eyes to one of my core strengths, a strength I now use every day at work.

We can only connect the dots in hindsight and I clearly see how I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. For as long as I can remember, complete strangers have been apologizing to me for sharing the intimate details of their lives shortly after we meet.
Asking key questions and co-creating the framework for a client’s success feels like the most natural thing in the world. Aspirations like regular five figure months, creating & launching passive income streams, crushing your sales process with ease and nurturing your leadership skills while saying NO with grace, confidence and a smile are what I show up for work for, each and every day.
The trust my clients place in me is a huge honour, one that I don’t take lightly. My role in supporting your empire building is a privilege, which is why I am very selective about who I work with. Please know that I am running a one-three month waitlist the past year, so reach out sooner than later if you’re interested in coaching.
The clarity of your vision matters.
What you want to do in this precious lifetime matters. Especially for people in marginalized groups, the conditioning to think and play small is so ingrained in our culture. There has never been a more exciting time to practice radical self care, lean into inner knowing and dedicate yourself to living, working and playing from an authentic and aligned place.

You weren’t put on this earth to have a small experience.

When you can scale your business, increase profitability, and have way more fun doing it, the amount of good you can do in this world and the impact you can make gets really exciting! Why not embrace your inner Melinda Gates, own your worthiness and think even bigger?

In the spirit of being vulnerable, here are a few random facts about me and my life.

  • I began my yoga practice in 1993 and plan to one day take my yoga teacher training to further deepen my practice. I will venture to a tropical setting, perhaps Costa Rica, and immerse myself in intensive training and hang out at the beach to meditate by the ocean in my downtime.

  • Each morning, the first thing I do is thank my bed for a good night’s sleep and say hello to a new day. No matter how much I slept, I recognize and affirm how today is gift not everyone has and feel a deep sense of gratitude for my body and all it does for me each day.

  • I have been a student of A Course in Miracles since 2013 and it has created a revolution of connection, meaning, and happiness in my life.

  • I’ve been an environmentalist since I was 14. Knowing the average woman puts 150 chemicals on her body during her morning routine also spurs me to make as many natural choices as I can.

  • After over a decade of percolating, I recently got a tattoo to honour my two daughters and brought them along for the experience.

  • I was raised in an alcoholic home. I am the apple that caught a ride on the wind and landed far far from home. This is part of connecting the dots, I craved accountability from others so deeply, I have turned it into my career. was This environment produced a relentless determination to live and love fearlessly. It gave me some of the greatest lessons of my life. As a result, I am fascinated with the study of neuroscience, addictive habits and accountability.
  • I am deeply spiritual and bought my first Tarot & Oracle card decks when I was back packing in Australia when I was 20. I’ve worked with a lot of spiritual clients who seek clarity, consistency and confidence to run an aligned and profitable business.
  • I have an irrational fear of falling down stairs and always use the hand rail. Except for that time I was seriously injured in an epic marshmallow fight, but that’s another story for another time, lol.

  • I get such a high from teaching people how to sit at all the tables of their lives, from the kitchen table to the corporate boardroom, feeling comfortable and confident as they speak their truth with grace, knowing their voice matters.

I believe we get as we give.

Community matters. Wether it’s your time, energy or money, show up for those causes and people that are aligned with your heart. For me it’s women, empowerment and education; what is it for you?

I mentor with the Forum for Women’s Enterprise (FWE), led Mindset Workshops for Dress for Success and donated Personal & Professional Transformation Coaching packages, fundraising for Ruben’s Shoes through both my exclusive client only networking night and in the community and the Women in Business Committee with the Tri-Cities Cities Chamber of Commerce.

Rather than telling you about my coaching practice, I will leave that to a few of my cherished clients, who have graciously shared their personal stories of investing in coaching or workshops over on my testimonials page.

Why do I do this work?

My passion stems from my own life experience which has been full of many teachers I would never have chosen, but in the end, were exactly who I needed to both become who I am and also to allow parts of me that no longer serve my true self to come undone.
I do this work because helping you grow your business feels good and right in my soul. When I see the shift in someone where their body, voice and eyes are showing me that they now see themselves the way that I see them, well there is nothing more rewarding than that.

 

Witnessing the spark of confidence ignite like a fire storm is THE BEST. Once you see your own magnificence, it can never be unseen.

I want you to walk away from the old emotional patterns that have been keeping your business small and live as if your successful future is already real.
